“…be ye steadfast…”

“…be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)

Thoughts: Stop being wishy-washy, wavery and sometimey when it comes to serving the Lord, proclaiming his name and telling of his goodness. Be steadfast, in and out of season, whether you’re happy or sad, well or sick, down or up. It doesn’t matter. Whatever the day has been to you, keep praising God, and be thankful you still have a day to do anything. Thank God for just being. Others are watching you to see if salvation is real. Your faltering may cause someone to look to another solution. People are searching for a better way. Your life-living is the testimony.

Also, for yourself, you will keep going in circles if you don’t get steadfast and move to the next level. Just like school. Why repeat the same grade over and over because you won’t get the homework or meet the requirements? Even if you know the work, you must take the test in order to pass the test. You can’t say promote me to the next grade because “I know the work, I just don’t want to take the tests.” No, it does not work that way. You must meet the requirements of those in charge. Jesus is in charge and His word is the living Word. We must obey and remain steadfast in the profession and doing of our faith.
