“Clean From The Inside Out”

Thoughts: I was recently doing some cleaning, rearranging and redecorating in the home. Kitchen: new floor, paint walls, appliances. It looks great on outside. But we also went into the hidden areas like the draws and cabinets, and purged and cleaned, threw out and reorganized.  It’s like going into the closet and cleaning even though guests may never see the interior. But it is a good feeling to look at the beautiful room and know it is clean from the inside out. AND so it is as a Christian. Sanctify yourself and the God of peace will sanctify you holy. We do what we can do as far as cleaning ourselves up, then God will do the work on the inside. He will throw our sins in the sea of forgetfulness. He will clean the draws and cabinets and closets of our body, mind and soul. What we can’t see, God sees. Our motives and reasons behind our actions and deeds. Man may not see, but God sees. You can’t fool God. Our arms are too short to box with God. Regardless of our outward show, God knows our heart. MAKE sure your election is sure. Make sure you’re right with God. Pray daily and continuously because too much is at stake…our eternal destiny. There is no room for error. The only way to be sure is to make sure we have enough oil in our lamps to last till our day is done. MY father taught us to not go to sleep with the car on E(mpty). He needed to be ready to move in an emergency and not rely on if a gas station was open, if it had gas or even if he would have time to make it to the gas station. I heard a church mother say, “get all you can and can all you get”. These are different ways to mean what the bible said “Work while it is day, for when night comes, no man can work.”  Judge not, lest ye be judged. Small minds talk about people. Keep your focus on Jesus and you can stay the course. Don’t let distractions take you off your course. Satan comes subtly to steer us off track. Don’t make it so easy for Satan to steer you off course. It should be harder and harder for Satan to do this because we should be getting stronger and stronger in Jesus, in our walk with Christ with every trial and temptation. Don’t be like the Children of Israel that walked in a circle for 40 years not making the progress they should have by DISOBEDIENCE. Please obey God. We don’t have the knowledge or the capability to begin to comprehend the mind of God. We just need to obey God to stay with God. God is all-powerful, the God of the whole Universe. Who wouldn’t want God to be their best friend? Only a fool. IN life, we like to align ourselves with the popular, the famous, the influential. Well, there is NO better person to call you a friend than JESUS. The man who defeated death, hell and the grave. I will let nothing separate me from the love of God. Every day I rise, I’m grateful and thankful for another opportunity to serve Him. We should surrender our lives and will to Jesus. What shall I render to God for all His mercies? What shall I render? Tell me what shall I give? God has everything and everything belongs to Him. God has everything and everything belongs to Him. Hallelujah. Thank you Jesus.
